A Russian tourist has stunned the world with her incredible underwater birth in the Red Sea, near Sharm el-Sheikh.
The unknown mother recently gave birth at a resort town named Dahab, with the help of her husband and a Russian doctor, who is also an expert at underwater child birth.
The doctor and the new father emerged from the Red Sea, moments after the woman gave birth.
The baby was reunited with an elder sibling and mother, who also emerged from the sea moments later. Clad in a bikini, she looked as if she had just gone in to take a dip rather than give birth!

The photos were taken by tourist, Hadia Hosny El Said, from a balcony nearby and have sparked world-wide interest. People have commented on how smooth and beautiful the delivery under water looks.
One commenter on the Twitter-verse is calling the newborn, “Baby Moses”.

According to WebMD, a water birth refers to when at least part of your labour or delivery takes place under warm water. This birthing method can also reduce fatal complications that may arise during bed-births.
While underwater, the newborn receives oxygen supply through placental circulation and is in no danger of drowning. Most women who undertake water births have reported that they are less painful than birth on a bed, feeling only the pressure but not the pain.
Meanwhile, there was no update on the condition of our Red Sea mother nor baby, but according to the photos, both appear to be happy and healthy. The identity of the couple and the gender of the baby have not been disclosed yet.
